Director of Corporate Infrastructure and Integration

My experience

I have worked within the NHS for 30 years across commissioning, acute and community organisations. I started my career as a trainee management accountant at West Middlesex Hospital while studying for my finance exams, and in April 2011 was appointed as the Director of Finance for the formation of HRCH from two provider arms of the local Primary Care Trusts.

My portfolio expanded to cover finance, estates, IT and IG, information, contracts and procurement and I have also recently undertaken the roles of interim Chief Executive and interim Deputy Chief Executive at HRCH.

Thoughts on the role

I am excited to be appointed as the Director of Corporate Infrastructure and Integration across both HRCH and Kingston Hospital to expand on the great collaboration and partnership working that has been undertaken over the last two years, where we all worked under challenging conditions towards a common goal. My portfolio of integration, IT, agile working, digital innovation and estates & facilities across the two organisations will allow us to realise the benefits of partnership working both within and outside of the two Trusts.

Something about me

I was born in the West Country, moved to London in the early nineties and quickly started to enjoy the huge contrast in social activities. I enjoy all sports and music, walking/running with my dog and, despite being unable to read music, I have just started to learn to play the drums.
